Laurie Ragusa has joined Brown Harris Stevens Commercial Real Estate Division. Laurie began her real estate career in 2005 negotiating industrial lease and sales transactions in the Long Island area. Some of her representative transactions include two - $2M dollar land and build-to-suits inclusive of zoning as well as various office leases. Prior to joining BHS, Laurie worked as a Certified Real Estate Paralegal with extensive work in analysis and drafting of leases and contracts, regulatory issues, land use and zoning concepts. She is fully versed in all sides of a real estate transaction. Laurie is currently a commercial/retail leasing & sales specialist. She has been instrumental in the placing of national Franchise Tenants, as well as other Retail Tenants. She is also involved in the residential end of real estate, as the current market trends warrant many different and intricate types of residential deals to be accomplished. Real estate has been a full time career for Laurie and she has forever kept a healthy balance between her personal and professional career. She has established long-term friendships and business relationships, both of which have resulted in continuous referrals from satisfied clients. She puts extreme importance on the relationships she develops with her clients, who then later become long lasting friends. This is the key to her success. Laurie attends many networking evens, as well as fundraisers, wherein she supports and participates within these different communities. She is an integral part of many new and thriving companies and organizations and will continue her commercial real estate career in the Nassau/Suffolk/Queens and NYC areas. Laurie is also in the process of obtaining her Florida Real Estate Salesperson License as well and plans to add Florida as a "Hotspot" for those interested in purchasing or leasing real estate there.
